Curriculum
Musical Theatre Awards
Desert Christian High School participates in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, also known locally as the Monte Awards. Each year, their productions are evaluated by a panel of judges. Selected students then perform live at the Monte Awards Show, competing for top honors. Additional awards, including Best Show, are also presented. The students who win Best Actor and Best Actress go on to represent the region in New York City, where they compete nationally.
