International Student Program
Thank you for your interest in Desert Christian Schools' International Student Program (ISP). For over a decade, DCS has welcomed F-1 Visa students from around the world. Our growing program celebrates cultural exchange by welcoming students onto our campuses and into our homes, creating meaningful opportunities for all involved to embrace diversity, appreciate cultural differences, and foster a global perspective. Upon acceptance, each international student is matched with a carefully screened American host family, who will provide support and guidance as the student adjusts to life in the United States. Please note that international tuition and fees apply.
Why Choose Desert Christian Schools?
The International Student Program (ISP) at DCS offers small class sizes, ensuring personalized attention to meet each student’s unique learning needs. Our goal is to equip students for success in college, university, and beyond by providing academic rigor and opportunities to build relationships through clubs, fine arts, and athletics.
A dedicated ISP Team, composed of experienced professionals, supports students in their academic and social growth. With a commitment to excellence, we strive to create a well-rounded and enriching experience for all involved in the program.
English Language Learners (ELL)
The DCS ELL support program includes ELL English I/II and III/IV. The curriculum focuses on reading, writing, listening, and speaking academic English. Extra tutoring may be provided to those students who need it.
Host Families
Desert Christian Schools (DCS) has a unique opportunity to bring students from around the world into our caring, Christ-centered community. We are always looking for families who might like to open their hearts and homes to a young person (7th - 12th grade) from another country.
Host families provide the opportunity for students to experience life as a member of an American family. Family connections allow for many experiences with athletics, fine arts, and other community activities while providing transitional and educational support throughout the homestay.
If you’re interested in hosting, please fill out our Host Family Inquiry Form, and we’ll be in touch with next steps!
