DCS strives to provide a solid spiritual and educational foundation to all children from preschool through 12th grade.

Admissions Process

Church attendance and reference forms are required of all students. One parent/guardian must be a practicing believer in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

1. After an application is submitted, the applicant and their family will be contacted if an admissions interview is being offered.

2. Readiness assessments in language arts and mathematics are required for applicants entering high school. These assessments will be completed on the high school campus once the admissions interview is complete.

3. All final admissions decisions are made by an admissions committee. Applicants who are admissible will be contacted within 2 weeks of completing all admissions requirements.

Greetings,

I’m Andrew Riebe, Admissions Director

of Desert Christian Schools (DCS). I am also proud to call DCS my high school alma mater (Class of 2009) and am happy that I have returned to serve the DCS community in this capacity! Since returning to work for our schools, I am pleased to find that this community continues to provide countless opportunities for students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. The staff teaches and nurtures kids from PS to 12th grade and one of the greatest highlights of being back at Desert is that it is like coming home – DCS feels like family!

Since Desert’s beginning in 1986, DCS has been committed to providing a solid spiritual and educational foundation that encourages students to make a difference and impact their world for Christ. It is our desire to partner with families in order to help disciple students so that they can succeed. DCS is an independent, inter-denominational, Christian covenant school that provides a rigorous traditional liberal arts education taught from a biblical worldview with the desired outcome to produce excellence.
