Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are precious to the life and success of Desert Christian, allowing parents to work alongside faculty and staff, enhancing many of the offerings of our school, and providing a strong example of servanthood to our students.  It has been estimated that if DCS were to fill volunteer jobs by paid staff, it would account for fifteen percent of our overall budget! 

Our school is supported by efforts of our all-school organization,Volunteers in Partnership(V.I.P.).  As parents and relatives of students, there are many opportunities for you to give to Desert Christian.  In whatever way you are gifted, you will be blessed in return:

  • Prayer for our school, including our students, faculty, staff, and parents.
  • Classroom assistance, chapel, office aide, lunchroom duties, athletics
  • Help with community projects such as the Canned Food Drive, Operation Christmas Child, Military Box Drive, or one of our class or missions trips.

Each school has different volunteer needs and provides parents an extended list of service areas from which to choose upon enrolling each year.  Contact your school office for any additional ways you may be able to give of your time to DCS.  God bless our volunteers!
