From the Athletic Director

Hello and welcome to DCHS Athletics. My name is Cindy Riley and I am the Desert Christian High School Athletic Director. I have held this position since the school opened in 1986 (with just 26 students!) and I have seen the school grow and mature in many ways, especially in the area of athletics.

Our athletics program has been developed to encourage students to grow not only in physical strength, coordination and endurance, but we also hold them to high academic standards and encourage continual spiritual growth. Sports is a tool we use to help mold our students into the confident, encouraging, models of good sportsmanship who reveal Christ to those around them.

In my position I have the opportunity to pursue Desert Christian Schools’ mission of “impacting our world for Christ.”  I am also actively involved in our governing sports institutions on a local, state and national level in an effort to maintain up-to-date programs and procedures.  Most importantly, I have the opportunity to bring the heart of Christ to the community.

My office handles scheduling of all sports, hiring of coaching staff, facilitating parent/coaches meetings, game management, athletic scholarship information, facility maintenance and much, much more. Feel free to conatact me with any questions regarding our programs.   I would love hearing from you.

I invite you to join this exciting, energizing part of Desert Christian and become a Screaming Eagle!

Serving Him Together,

Cindy Riley
